My brother introduced me to the series with the Wayfarer Redemption. Although I was new to the genre, I was immediately hooked and sought out all the remaining titles right away. Unlike other series I am now reading, I found this one to be the right mix of action, romance and storytelling. It also has a more optimistic feel than some of the gloom and doom tales, even when they are surely facing destruction, which helped me keep reading and not just give up in despair. The glossary of terms and characters at the back of each book is also helpful. If you like this kind of fantasy the Wayfarer series will surely draw you in and hold your attention all the way.
