This is a take on relationships that had never been revealed to me before. The more I read the book, the more appealing Some's take on intimacy seemed.
Intimacy is not solely an individual thing, it is a part of the community. When there is a marriage, it is the COMMUNITY'S marriage. "My" sorrow becomes "our" sorrow. The overall view of intimacy is togetherness and the perfect environment for our happy spirits to thrive!
I loved this beautiful concept and it can be integrated into our own relationships. The contrast of Some's view of relationships and the Western world's view is distinct.
A great book for those considering marriage or wish to build better relationships with other people.
