Great overview
Everything you ever wanted to know about photographic exposure... and probably a bit more
Hicks is a first-rate author who explains everything at a level of detail that will satisfy both the casual student looking for an overview, and the advanced student wanting to know 'what goes on behind the scenes.' Photos are decent examples of the concepts being taught but sometimes emphasize the point that Hicks/Schultz are more authors/educators than great photographers
All-in-all, one of the best books on the topic.
