A good reference for those wanting to add ferns to their landscape. I had never studied ferns before, so it was a task to wade through the information. This book would be more helpful and easier to use if it had several appendices to list by name only the zone; light requirement; evergreen or deciduous; size. One could narrow down possible choices by looking at the appendices and then referring to the main body.
