This is a beautiful book for those who love embroidery and history. It is full of gorgeous illustrations, sketches and photographs of styles of embroidery from the 16th century forward. And provides little bits of history one won't find in any other book.

Excellent reference
I am doing City & Guild by distance learning and this is a great resource book. As well it's a fascinating history of embroidery through the ages. Well worth it.
