The RHS Pocket Diary 2009 is illustrated with works from the collection drawings made by Chinese artists under the supervision of John Reeves (1774--1856). Reeves, an inspector of tea at Canton and Macao for the East India Company, sent a total of 755 drawings to the Society. The Reeves Chinese drawings were divided into two sets. The anthologies are from the RHS Lindley Library, acknowledged as the world's finest horticultural library. Each week features a full-page colour illustration and the diary includes the dates of all the RHS Flower Shows as well as national and religious holidays and astronomical information.
