This was my first book by this author and, as an economist, I found it very entertaining. The main character is a fictional university economist who sounds suspiciously like Milton Friedman. He sees everything that people do in their normal lives from an economic perspective and explains the principles that guide us to whoever will listem. He solves the murder case in this manner. It is not your hard-boiled thriller; rather just a light-hearted (even though it is murder) caper.
