I LOVE THIS BOOK! it was lovingly written and has beautiful illustrations. It's about a little boy who loses his stuffed dog, the sorrow he feels, and how much it affects his family. It was a favorite with my children years ago, when an earlier printing was titled "David and Dog". This is a hard to find book, (I looked for it for a long time) and a real keeper. Now I read it to my grandchildren, and they love it too.
