a fantastic collection of poetry
Max T. Hohn's classic textbook is a wonderful collection of narrative poetry. It was designed to be appealing to teenagers who dislike poetry, and it's so good. It's got work by Edgar Allan Poe, Vachel Lindsay, John McCrae, Alfred Noyes and a bunch of other greats. Fun, interesting stuff. It's all terrific to read out loud, too -- great for reading to older kids. One of the best introductions to poetry around, even if you generally dislike poetry.
