Very good. Connecting readers with great books since 1972! Used books may not include companion materials, and may have some shelf wear or limited writing. We ship orders daily and Customer Service is our top priority!
It is really a pity that this is the last book the author wrote before her death. Two are the main reasons. First, because Kestrel's past and potential future will remain a mystery since we've only had a glimpse of the first in this book).
Second, because I think the book is not equal to the previous ones in the series. The relationships are a little shallow and the identity of Orfeo is apparent even in the first one hundred pages of the book.
I am really sorry to give up this more or less great series and its intriguing hero.
Nevertheless, it was a good read and if my expectations had not been so high, based on the previous books, I would have really enjoyed it very much.
