I read this book several years ago when it first came out. It stayed with me over the years and I read the books that followed. (The Clayborn Brides and Come the Spring.) The entire group of books were so moving. I loaned For The Roses to a friend and never got it back, so I ordered another copy from Alibris. The book was still so touching. I found myself laughing and crying. I loved this book. I will make sure and keep this copy so I can read it again. This is definitely a keeper. All of Julie Garwood's books are my favorites, but the Clayborns really touched my heart.

A wonderful story about the Claybornes
This book will hold your interest from the start to finish. You are able to follow the Clayborne family as they move from NYC to Blue Belle, MT. This book is a mystery, a love story and an adventure. All members of this diverse family are loyal and dedicated to keeping their secrets. They work hard and become prosperous and respected.
