Better called the tsunami
This is an excellent book in every way touching at the cords of human existence. During the Tsunami I was looking for this book as a must read for school children and especially those helping with coping with the aftermath of the tsunami and to help children understand that mind boggling phenomena. It is an essential read for all since we know not when another disaster will hit on planet earth.
The book shows how to love and care for those who suffered loss of their nearest relatives and all means of livelihood that they felt like virtual pillars of stones. The example was taken to print a million books for children in Sri Lanka during the tsunami. A debt of gratitude of no small measure is owed to Pear S. Buck
