I was drawn to this book by it's cover. I have read other Danielle Steele books but found this one to be just average. I wasn't captivated by the characters. Others have great periods in history as a back drop, but this one just didn't measure up in choice of location (Hollywood) and characters (a writer). I wasn't disappointed, but it just didn't grab me.
