When I first started this amazing read, I found it difficult to interpret Jack's dialogue. I am so glad that I did not give up. Like reading subtitles in a foreign film, it became second nature after the first 2-3 chapters. I found this novel to be one of the most unique that I have ever read. Heart pounding at times, I did not want to race through only to beat myself up for not savoring every word. A fantasy of sorts, yet so true in this day and age where a person that is disfigured or different is judged with prejudice before the true character of that human is truly known & understood. Not often do I finish a book, then sit and reflect on what I have read. Pigtopia was one of those books.
