Everyone should read this book! I now understand physics! If this series had been published when I was a schoolgirl, I would have invented the Mars rover myself. Give this book to you daughters so they will know that science is not closed to them. That's why he wrote the books! Stannard really does explain relativity and quantum mechanics so clearly that a nine year old schoolgirl and a 41 year old lawyer can understand it. Read this book. Then it will all make sense. We are made of the same things the stars are made of. We are star stuff. These books aren't published in the USA because American publishers think our kids aren't smart enough to understand or interested enough to care. Prove them wrong!!! Buy this book! Buy six of them! Give them to your kids and your friend's kids and to kids you don't know, because they'll be designing our wheelchairs and nursing homes in the Brave New World.
