A superb idea!
Originally published by Faber this was the first in projected series of tutors in all modern languages using Song Texts, Opera Libretti and Poestry for the excercises. Including a definitive translation of German musical terms and National idiosyncratic teminology, I cannot recommend this book too highly. What a pity neither Faber - nor anyone else picked up this particular ball and ran with it!
