The only reason I read this is because I hate to not finish a series. I am a Margeret Weis/Tracy Hickman fan. However, this is one of their weaker series. One needs a extra large dose of suspension of disbelief, and I find that takes too much effort. The writing seems a bit stilted, and some characters seem to behave contrary to their established personalities. I should hope I'm not that easily duped or turned against those I love.
