My copy was in excellent condition but I've found I would've been mesmerized despite any blemishes on its cover or pages. It is a book that can be read over and over, every paragraph paramount and magnificent in its depiction of the characters and, more generally, life. It is a novel that offers a fresh new experience with every reading; one that can both paralyze and awaken the reader's sense of self through the exploration of the people Kesey has so masterfully brought to life.
