This is a very interesting read on WWII in Alaska. The American people had no idea how tough the war was for us on US TERRITORY!! The battle for Attu was hellacious!

If you are at all interested in World War II or Alaska, this book is a Must Read. Find out all about what our military went through in the Aleutians; the only invasion of the United States since the War of 1812.
It is a great book.
