Linda Goodman is such an insightful author that this astrology book is leaps and bounds above any other that I have read. Goodman makes each zodiac sign come to life with witty, delightful examples and accurate descriptions. She also divided each sign into convenient portions (such as lover, child, boss, parent, etc.), so that the casual reader can look up a friend's birthdate quickly and get to the most important characteristics of that sign. Her other astrology books are wonderful too (Love Signs, Relationship Signs, Goobers), but this book is the ONE book I would not be without! Even if you don't believe in astrology. . .
. . . you will be totally entertained! While I am among those with a reluctance based on a lack of undestanding from religious teaching, I am glad I read it. I am a Libra, and its exhaustive description of my attributes and faults was so insightful, it was amazing! I then read my husband's Virgo characteristics, and it had him dead to right, too. It was the same result for my children. Then, to assuage my previous skepticism, when some friends were visiting, I asked them to listen to the characteristics given for an undisclosed sun sign, and to tell me the name of anyone they described without doubt. The individual they declared was of the undisclosed sign! I read a couple more with the same results. What a great parlor game, at the very least! And, at best, you may learn some things about yourself and others that might help you in your relationships. Try it. You'll like it!
