This book is eloquently written. It holds your interest throughout. I kept wondering how it would end. It would interest those curious about our ancestors, pioneers, history and romance. I always thought Johnny Appleseed was a crazy guy that wore a pan on his head, but this book shows the human side of John Chapman and the vital part he played in the development of our country. He made a commitment and gave up a lot to do the right thing. I loved it.
