Great for beginner, intermediate AND advanced
Perfect bathroom reading the week before the final ; )-- This text book is comprehensive, and intelligent without being pretentious. There are definitions for the jargon, the ideas are broken down into digestible chunks so that chapters aren't textbooks in and of themselves. I would definitely recommend Havilands' work here.
