The only defect is to much printing in the back for the "Find XXX here" info and not enough maps at larger scale. Both thematic and cities, for instance. Dropping the 117 page "Pronouncing Index", starting on page 254 running to page 370 would make room for more maps, maybe even one showing what would happen if all the ice caps melted?
But all in all, a good tool to teach my starter classes.
