As a second year student of English and Arabic philology in Poland, I have to say that this book is very good for quick reference, especially for students. It has all the information a student could need, given in a friendly, easy-to-understand way. A lot of charts and examples. Most grammar books of MSA are thick, with way too much information, written for specialists who already know Arabic grammar. But that is not the case with this book - it's easy even for foreigners. Don't waste your money on other books. This one is sufficient, you just have to get used to it.
