This book is a MUST HAVE for all outdoor people. It's illustrations, and prints make for easy identification. The information contained is priceless. I am part of a group that believe the disappearance of Honey Bees is due to the importation of foreign plants to our natural environment. We wish to plant and propagate flowers that are domestic to an area. This book is a wonderful tool and is helping us to decide which plants to use in different regions.

Only if you're interested in an excellent book on full-page authentically colored wild flowers would you want this book. I had a wild lily that I found along the banks of the Alabama River that I never could identify. This book has it., an atamasco lily. I also like to see large botanically illustrated pictures of wild flowers such as trilliums, lady's slippers, and others that I found as a child when I lived in New Brunswick, Canada. The book was not expensive.
