Private gift inscription on front free end-paper, a touch of light foxing to bulked page edges and small red remainder mark on bottom edge. An historical record of some of the over 15, 000 prints and negatives from Lt. Commander Edward Steichen's unit, better known as the Naval Aviation Photographic Unit. A very clean, square, and unmarked copy but for marking mentioned above. Near fine in a fine dust-jacket.
