Very Good in Very Good jacket. 4to-over 9¾-12" tall. 1st Printing. Generically inscribed on half-title page "All good wishes / Ray Harryhausen" in ink. Previous private owner bookplate on front pastedown. Otherwise a very good copy in a very good jacket with some wear to spine ends. tear and crease at lower edge of rear panel and some general dust soiling to jacket. Not price-clipped. This is the true first edition. There were two further editions published by Barnes which added color photos. All photos in this book are b&w and the entire book is curiously printed on grey paper. 118 pages. Last page has a manufacturing error causing a streak in the middle of page that is lighter than the rest of the page. Perfectly readable. Bonus: an unsigned copy still of Harryhausen and one of his skeleton creatures is laid in. (B&W)
