not what I expected
This is more than it first appears. It takes a while to get used to the characters and setting but after the first couple of chapters the intrigue and action propells the plot and mystery. More than a ghost story or tale of the darker practices in Vistorian times, but uses the pretense to unravel death and reveal love.
