And I'm an Eastwood fan, in spite of his ridiculous display at the RNC. He did a good job in this movie but the movie didn't begin to match the book in quality or length nor in depth. The characters were more fleshed out, the plot longer and deeper and some of the characters are carried along in additional books. It's Connelly; you know it's going to be a good read.

Terrific
What a compelling, well-developed character, and what a fascinating plot! I was transfixed by this novel, which is definitely one of Connelly's best. His take on organ transplantation is fresh and even - at a stretch - believable. Don't watch the movie; while a competent thriller, it is a travesty of the novel.

I thought this was a great book. It has an amazing ending that is helped along throughout the book by this author's ability to keep you intrigued and wanting to know more. If you have a chance to read this, I recommend it.

A great idea for an original crime novel. Blood Work is a suspenseful tightly woven story that leaves you guessing at each twist. Having had a transplant surgery myself I was drawn to this book by the idea of mystery surrounding the donor and circumstances around her death. But this book is a good read with a personal connection to it or not. A really unexpected endind adds to the excitement.
