Since reading this book (current order was for a gift) several years ago, Sharon Shinn has become one of my favorite authors. Everything she writes is wonderful. This is the first of several set in Samaria. Read and enjoy!

Good read.
It is well wrtten, well thought through and believe me you will be comparing everyone of other Samaria series against this one.
I like Gabriel and his Angelica. They grow on you.
