Being a night owl,and coming across infomercials on almost every channel,the one man who keeps me watching is Ron Popeil,this man could sell a ketchup popsicle to a woman in white gloves,he comes across as your neighbor next store, if you happen to live in Beverly Hills,that is. This book explains how her became successful as a salesman,also he doesnt hid the fact that he also had troubles and how he over came those troubles.He tells you how to become a successful salesman or saleswoman in his line of work or any other business you would try to start. We have all watched late night tv and all of us at some point in time have ordered something we have seen,that we didnt need,but because of the sales pitch,the salesman made you seem you had to have the product,thats how i came to order Ron Popeils book, Salesman of the century, i bought it probely how Ron Popeil would not have liked it,used from (Alabris)as he doesnt get a commission on the sale of used books,but hey if i am ever to become successful in life i need to save money where i can.I highly reccommend this book from anyone who would like start a business of their own or someone who would just like to read about a guy who had great ideas and sold the public on his ideas, a gread read.
