I really cannot compare this book to any other. To me, at least, it took me back to my wanders throught the woods as a child and interest in American Indian life while at the same time telling a story (true) of a special human being.

Great Book
I had this book many years ago. Loaned it to a friend who never returned it, never saw her again and missed this book very dearly. I live near the Hunter Island where the story is based and everytime I walk through the trail there I always remember this book and Joe Two Trees. Everyone should read this book you wont be disappointed.
