Huge
Though not neccessary to read the books in order this is the first story in the series. The dog known as Clifford has a tough time being so big. He's bigger than Emily's house, making him more like an elephant than a dog. Emily copes and tells readers how she manages to take care of the super huge dog. This funny family friendly tale is a true classic. Kids will absolutely love Clifford. Both Clifford and Emily are likable characters. The illustrations are cute and entertaining. There is great use of color in the drawings.
