Seller's Description:
Illustrated by Author. Very Good-in Good+ dust jacket. 0434964107. Color Illustrations; Oblong 8vo 8" to 9" tall; 44 pages; Inscribed by Spier on the illustrated front free endpage, and dated 1969. Apparently a later printing with an incomplete number line on the title colophon suggesting an 8th printing. Sound copy, a little shaken in the binding. Bright dust jacket surface rubbed spine edge with a few small chips along edges and a short closed edge tear top front panel. Rubbing to spine has effaced some of the printed titling. No mention of Caldecott medal on DJ. Front flap price clipped. Sound clean copy with some wear to DJ. Author signed. VG-/G++; Signed by Author.
