Absolutely awesome stuff. Can't begin to say how much more fun this series is so far than Jorg's series. Oddly enough I felt almost the exact same about this book as I did with Prince of Fools though. The Liar's Key had a strong, compelling first half that led into a third quarter that sagged for a little while there, leading to a climax that renews interest. Despite this sagging bit, I still had a fantastic time overall. This entry to the series is probably the best so far as far as world-building within the Broken Empire universe. You'll be left with a bit more of an understanding of what's going on behind the curtains after reading this than you might have finishing off Emperor of Thorns. MUCH more, and in a satisfying way. There is also quite a bit of character development that had me very attached to our main cast throughout the book. It was a grand adventure and I'm ridiculously excited for the finale.
