Sad tale of her life at the hands of her sadistic brutal husband/pimp and his customers who are similar to him except they don't beat her, they just abuse her sexually (which is as bad or worse). The Amanda Seyfreid movie is a walk in the park compared to her real life events.
Depressing. Brutal, depraved, horrible. Not to be read by minors or sensitive people unless to gain empathy for women's shelters, stronger restraining orders etc...
Amazingly, Marilyn Chambers married him after Lovelace finally got away from him.
