Although I have as yet not read the entire book, I did watch it on the history channel, they did not offer the DVD for sale, thus I turned to the web. It is a very detalied book and well worth the price. It brings to life the idea that dragons are "real" and that many cultures have a belief in dragons, and cultures that had no contact with eacn other had a belief in a dragon and all the creatures looked very much the same. I'm planning on using it as a main sorce to teach a class on dragon mythology.The research is very well done and the documation about the cultures and their belief about the dragon causes one to really wonder if they did and still do exist.
