Great Book
Gave beautiful descriptions of scenery and kept you guessing until the last moment about "who dun it" . It is a long book but reads very fast as you can't put it down. I would recommend it to anyone that likes a little mystery.

Well worth it
Nora Roberts spends eight hours a day at her desk. Since no one as successful as she could be doing this for financial gain, she must experience a deep need for contructing plots, researching background, and creating characters that draw her readers into emotional identification. Northern Lights is situated in Alaska, whose climate, ideosyncratic people, and extraordinary beauty she evokes in this tale. It is one of the romances in which she specializes, a mystery, and a story of emotional and moral regeneration. The cop whose life is re-born through his acceptance by a tough Alaskan town and the love of a tough Alaskan bush pilot, carries her usual punch of human drama. You like everybody but the villain, and cheer on the dogs.
