This has got to be one of the best books of it's genre, the story of how success changes some and not others and how some people use other peoples success, of how someone in such a massive spotlight try's to be honest and true to themselves and their family - and to a great degree succeeds, but how pressure gets it's claws in and destroys what it wants to. the way this is written certainly shows the human aspect of Elvis and his family and how he yearned to be the same old Elvis. Priscilla has been closer to Elvis than anyone and this certainly show's here, she has done an excellent job. If you only read one book try to fit this one in, it will be worth your time.
Excellent reading.

Love the book
I read the book and loved it. It was amazing what Priscilla went through loving Elvis. She met him in Germany and moved in with Elvis while she was still in school. She had a lot of heartbreaking though, because of his affairs. Nine months exactly after they were married, Lisa Marie was born. It was sad though that Lisa didn't have her mom and dad living together, but sometimes he comes to Priscilla's house to see Lisa Marie. I keep reading the book, because this is one of my favorites.
