If you have any interest in cool history or cryogenics at all (not the sci-fi type), you'll enjoy this book. It reads like a novel with all the human eccentric, petty jealousness and brilliance surrounding each plateau of 'Eureka' achieved towards absolute zero. Remaining thoroughly non-fiction in content, facts are distributed chronologically throughout our recent 200 year history which carries the story along nicely. Sometimes a little hard to follow all those various scientists names in context within the story. Maybe that's just me? I enjoyed the 2nd read even more with my highlighter at the ready. This ones a keeper!
