Am giving each of my children this book for Christmas in the hopes that they will take their children out of town (away from the lights) on a non-cloudy night- lay flat on their backs and enjoy.

I have bought multiple copies of this book over the last 10 years and give it to adults and children alike. This is the best beginner astronomy book that has ever been written. It is so user friendly...anyone can easily find new constelations in the very first try. Worth every penny! The book was written by the authors of Curious George. It does not use difficult words and it is full of great drawing too.
