Seller's Description:
Very Good in Very Good jacket. Book. 8vo-over 7¾-9¾" tall. On a troubled Caribbean island, an Englishman and his mistress are drawn into a fatal connection with a young guerrilla leader. First edition. Second printing. Aside from some smudges on the front free endpaper and some foxing to the textblock edges, this is a clean copy with no writing, marks, underlining, or bookplates. No remainder marks. Not an ex-library copy. Spine is tight and crisp. Corners are square, if a bit bumped. The dark boards are fairly clean with only very minor edge wear but are ever so slightly warped. Dust jacket is not price-clipped ($7.95) but does have some light creasing on the front cover, some browning to the flaps, and some general edge wear/scuffing including several tears that are 1/4" or less. This collectible, very good/very good, first edition/second printing copy is protected with an archival mylar dust jacket cover. Satisfaction guaranteed!
