This review is only of one volume of the series;the volume covering the 17th and early 18th centuries. The intro is the only part I have read and its great. Definitely want to start on the text itself!

Enjoyable- both for pleasure and school
We ordered this for a college course, so we expected the main works to be okay but one-sided in its' comments. Not so- well balanced and enjoyable throughout.
