Compared to other introductions to International Relations, this book by Mingst is much more comprehensive since he is the writer rather than the editor. He introduces the paradigm theories, that is, realism, liberalism and radical theory first and make reflections on them in every manifestations of state interactions. However, the writer has little to say about the world after the end of cold war because of early publication date of the book and thus could not be helpful in Post-modernism, humanitarian intervention, war against terrorism and so on.

Required reading
This book is required for a university course in International Relations that I'm currently enrolled in.
The book was in a much better condition than I had expected - almost new.
Thanks
