Sebastian Faulks did an amazing job of emulating Ian Fleming's style and voice, emphasizing all the right elements and handing us a credible extension of the Fleming oevre. It's a fun read and just unpredictable enough to not be too rote. As someone who read all the Bond books in my youth, this was a fun and satisfying read.
