This book is part of a series and continues on with the stories from one to the other . I would recommend that a reader start with #1 which is A Miracle at St. Cecelia's. After reading that one which I bought at a used book sale, I read the others from the library in a little town we lived in for a year and a half. When we got home I decided I wanted the series for myself so bought them used also. They are a charming series about the life of a small town, centering on the Catholic church but also with good relations with the other churches. There is one book that is outside the series "The Haunted Rectory" which does connect to it and is very scary...quite different from the rest but a good one. I've bought that one also, used. I hope others will enjoy these books too.
