This is a good read for those days when you've got nothing else to read, but beyond that, it's not really worth picking up. While I enjoy Sandra Brown's pure romance novels much more than her thrillers, this one was nothing special. In fact, I read this months before reading Brown's White Heat, but was still struck by the similarities in these two novels! It's as if Sandra Brown wrote Sunny Chandler's Return as the fluffy, romancy read, and White Heat as the thrilling mystery read - but after the same model!! In fact, neither of the two is even that interesting to read or write one, let alone two, novels about!
