After reading Cameron's The Weekend, I was glad to find this book. 18 year old James doesn't really want to go to college, and has to learn just what it is he wants to do. There is a lot of conversation in this book (which I like), is very current, and quite realistic (only a few times does the author's voice come through James' thoughts---too mature for a teenager.) Great relationship with his grandmother.
