I very much enjoy the 500 Kingdoms series, I couldn't wait to read this one. The characters were good, the re-telling of the fairy tale was refreshing. There are a few continuity errors but I enjoy the world that Ms. Lackey created. At the end I just wanted to know where the romance was...

I liked it, not a 5 star book like the Fairy Godmother, but not bad at all.
