This is one of her earliest books. She definitely improves over time. This is a romance, whereas her newer books are romantic thrillers.
As a romance, I just didn't find the characters were that endearing.
One annoying habit she has with her dialogue writing is that even if there are only two people in the room, they begin or end each sentence with the other person's name. Who speaks like that?
